Custom I4 exhaust

Has anyone had a custom exhaust done for the gen2? Im looking for downpipe to muffler and want to know the gains (Low or high end) and what the cost might be.

Not sure if there is a complete custom from downpipe to muffler, but defcon has done a sick custom tip build. Used I believe the LS tips on his 2gen. Should check that out atleast.

i fear that an exhaust thats too loud would be ricey and detract from the luxury half of the tsx... tsxronald or ttk care to chime in?

as far as "sport luxury" sedans go i think were pushing more luxury than sport with the tsx lol. If you can find tasteful new tips that are just a weeeee bit bigger and fill up the stock bumper nicely let me know

Ill film a new video using proper equipment to show you guys how it sounds. Honestly...out of all the exhausts I've had on my car this is the best sounding one hands down. Yea it's pretty loud but Im young and I want it loud. Mines 2.5" diameter piping single cat back exhaust with a resonator and an Invidia muffler off an s2000. I could barely feel any power gains from it but my driving experience has increased ten fold.

the sound alone increased your driving fun? sounds awesome then and i cant wait to hear it

i think single exhaust was written somewhere...so does that mean its only one tailpipe? Whats in the other hole now? pseudo pipe?

this is how it looks....there are alot of aftermarket single exhausts though for cars that come with OEM duals. Seems like half the exhausts for S2000's are single. Our cars though are not a true "dual" exhaust so I thought single would be more efficient. If anything, I gained a bit of low end torque from doing this.

i am glad you are smart and went with the single exhaust pipe. i remember this lolworthy civic thread where some guy made a placehold second exhaust tip and people were ragging on him cause in the cold you could easily see that no exhaust was coming out of one tip lmao

i wish i could find the thread because it was genuinely funny but please accept this in the meantime
