CTE Supercharger Update
CTE Supercharger Update
Contacted CTE about 09 tsx supercharger and here was there response.
Customer,
We have been having issues with the tuning, the kit is extremely close to being ready for production. You should be able to buy one in the near future, sorry for being so vague but I can't givemany details at this time. Keep checking in, we are certainly going to release it.
If you have any other questions feel free to call or e-mail us anytime.
Thanks,
There you have it. Maybe in time for Christmas???

The issue is not with CT-E. It's been discussed before, they can sell you a supercharger right now, you just wont have a way to tune your ECU. I wouldn't count on a Christmas release. They're also working on the TL supercharger. I would say they would want to get the TL supercharger out faster since the TL does have the bigger potential customer base.
Yeah I know the ecu is the main issue. But last I heard they weren't saying anything about the release. At least it sounds hopeful now from the response I got. I would say no matter which is released first, the tl or tsx supercharger that the other would soon follow.

...Yes I am just as in shock/surprised as you are. lol apparently the owner said the main issue with public release is Hondata's delay for putting out their reflash. What I dont understand is that this guy seems to have had no problem for 24k miles with the reflash and superchrager so I really dont see the delay
unless Hondata just doesnt want to release it!

We have been established reprogramming Ecu.
I already offered to send me a compressor kit for your car and we would reflesh.
But no one agreed.
We (GoshaTurboTech) for more than 3 years of building and set up these cars.
We have a great experience.
Here's an example:
Reflash for stock CU2:

Vtec on 4000rpm.
Revlimit 8000rpm.
Max gain:
On 7300 rpm - 13ps
On 6000 rpm - 20ps
On 4500 rpm - 15ps
On 2000 rpm - 10ps
On 6300 rpm - 25nm
On 4500 rpm - 30nm

But they do not want to cooperate with us ...

Where would the programming of the ECU be handled? I would like to pursue more power in the car, but lack of a solid foundation (tuning) to build on has placed the car on this nearly permanent hold.
At this point I'm hoping (for the impossible) for Honda to team up with CT-E to get this done. Sell it through Honda and Acura dealerships with financing and warranty. The price will also go down since more units will be moved.
This move will give keep the owners in house with the mods instead of having them go else where. Dealers will make money through selling the kit and servicing those vehicles afterwards. Acura can probably ax the V6 TSX as well since they don't sell very well. If owners and buyers want more power then opt for the SC.
Even if the supercharger kit is completed and released tomorrow none of us will be able to afford it which it doesn't do anybody any good LOL.

Hehehe there is a viable tuning option!
J&R's NEW ECU!
it was developed for the 3rd gen TL.
But I'm sure Rodney can port it over to the 2nd gen TSX!
N/A TL's with full bolt on's gained 25-30HP with this new ECU.
The ECU Does amazing things to Forced Induction.
if any one of you are serious, I'd contact J&R right away.

That's exactly what Comptech USA/Comptech Sport (CT-E) did before! They sold parts through the dealers as 'factory blessed parts.' Unfortunately, IMHO, the dealers didn't push the product and fortunately the aftermarket was finally able to step in and give them broader distribution.
