The intake price should be available in a week or two. As soon as they finish my car on the dyno I will start posting the gains.

Comptech's springs are so cool, they have different spring rates left to right, they compensate for the "Honda lean." and to offset the driver's weight.

If you measure from the center of the wheel to the top of the fenderwell left to right on a level surface, you'll see the left side is a little lower by 1/8"-1/4". The Comptech...err...CTE springs correct that.

Very nice, I wonder how much they will be? I can't seem to find fitment for the 1G TSX on their web site though....

You meant 2G I'm sure. They will probably have it up in the 'what's new' area soon. Boosted09 is going from zero to hero, the lucky dog.

No, no, I was looking for the cost of the 1G springs to cross reference and get an idea of what they might cost for our cars. I hope the SC is the same price as the 1G, although I don't know if $1000/10 hp is worth the money.

Yes & no. It is a preliminary design, but now that it's common knowledge, I figured it was ok to post. In the past, they've been thick injection molded plastic, but the new one *may* be fiberglass. Dunno yet, but I'm patient.

As shown on there site the intake with have a carbon fiber lid. I believe that the rest will be molded plastic. I should have pictures next week of the completed kit with dyno numbers.

So is the kit going to be only for the 6 speed? Is hondata doing the reflash?

In the past, they've been for auto's and MT's. Sounds like there's some very cool design elements on this S/C that we haven't had before.

My car is a 6 speed, so that is what they starting with. We may be sending them a automatic after they get our TL done. That is if the V6 TSX dosen't hit before than. As for Hondata they should be getting it by then end of next week for testing.

We will be sending them a V6 as soon as they are ready for one. Most likely the beginning of next year. They have a lot of R&D cars they are working on.

Just saw the 09 TSX CT-E supercharger yesterday! I was in the area at Driving Ambition and Nate from CT-E came rolling up in it. It looks great! Lots of room to work in the engine and the belt wrap on the blower is a lot more than the setup in my 04 TSX. I also saw the Comptech Icebox. That thing is like a work of art! It has carbon fiber on it and looks really clean in the engine bay.

Tried to get some pics but Nate wanted to hold off until everything is completely ready. The car should be going down to Doug at Hondata for tuning in the next couple of weeks.

Nice car you got there BOOSTED09TSX. I like the Ron Jons!

It sounds like the other stuffis on it's way, just no header. The time comments are just a friendly tongue-in-cheek jab because we're all impatient. When they do come out, they'll be 100%.

I emailed CT-Engineering to see if I could get any more info about the icebox, first I got this:
"Unfortunately we do not have much information at this time, other than what you have already said below. Three bits of info we do have... the Icebox wil be a real Icebox (not a heat shield, or tube&filter), it will be made mostly of fiberglass, and it will have a very nice carbon fiber lid with the logo in the clearcoat. It's also a very high volume system, and makes significant power gains even on a normally aspirated car. More info will be posted to our website as soon as it's available. Thanks for considering CTE",
then got another email from Nate with this:
"We are finishing up the 2009 TSX Icebox but do not have a release date yet for it.
This is only a guess, but I think you will have pictures and pricing next month and possibly some available units around the end of next month. I will try and post something as soon as I have enough info to make it worthwhile.
Feel free to email me directly in three or so weeks and I’ll tell you everything I know"

Just thought you guys might want to know, and I will let you know if i hear anything else

There's all sorts of stuff that could interfere with a s/c install between auto and MT. There could be mounting bracketry diferences or air intake differences etc. Not to mention the potential for different management for AT vs MT.

yea i get you it makes sense.. but does that mean that the ice box is different for our cars as well? or would we at least be able to put that on for the auto's?
