If anything why not a cf front splitter or a rear diffuser? I like carbon fibre but if it's too much (pyhsically and financially) then it can get tacky

I don't think in the real business there is such thing as decorative carbon fiber. Sometimes it just comes out looking good. Carbon fiber is graded based on its tensil modulus. A few things. The higher the tensil modulus, the closer it is to graphite. Graphite is the stiffest carbon product but has the weakest tensil strength. As the tensil modulus increases, it costs more. So, the stiffer the weaker. However, just because it costs more doesn't mean it's better. A real piece is engineered to function using ply-orientation, tensil modulus, choice of core, thickness, and selection of matrix. It's really cool watching a real company build a serious product. You would be suprised how much detail goes into a quality piece. I can't imagine the thought which must go into creating a F1 car.

I have a question, total newb question, but why dont they fit perfectly? I mean i realize they used molds and such but why cant they just get it right from the beginning?

CF springs? Whoah, that's very cool, F1 stuff like the rotors that take like...eons to produce?

Vector Blue, the kind of stuff we're talking about is subject to tolerances that arise from any hand produced part.

so an industry, like seibon or something there parts fit fine, but handmade might be subject to a little modification needed. Ok! thanks

We thought about doing these but we feel the cost was going to be too high. We were going to be $800 or so. Of course we use infusion, super light and no bubbles. But costly!
