Cai in the rain?
#2
theres a couple of threads on this, but to help you out: the CAI is perfectly fine in the rain. just avoid standing water/deep puddles. when the filter itself gets submerged, then you should worry.

I drove my car with CAI in the rain and it hydrolocked my engine. I will now proceed to lash out my anger at Injen and the company I bought it from in public on Acurazine.
Okay, All joking aside, no man, I've driven with a CAI through some pretty rough times and I've had no problems at all. I try to avoid puddles and stuff, but sometime I do hit them, and it really doesn't do anything, though you should still try to avoid them. Injen built a pretty solid CAI and it's amazing man. I'm sure you're loving yours. You should get a hydroshield if you're seriously worried though, I have one on mine just for peace of mind. I think ed_423 is trying to sell his so maybe he can chime in and sell to you if he still is trying to sell it. And if you don't like the hydroshield, it would make a badass injen-branded showercap
