^get the stoptech package from excelerate. I installed them on my si and felt much more confident when applying the brakes. The pads have a way more solid and reassuring feel.

Here is the link to the package:

http://store.excelerateperformance.c.../i-466578.aspx

Id' recommend purchasing the package to get the best deal and you can install the rear rotors at a later date. We do not offer free shipping as the package is already highly discount. You can add it to cart and put in your zip code for a shipping quote though. We do have all the parts in stock.

These components aren't just more durable; they also perform better. The pads have a higher heat temp range and are less prone to brake fade. The rotors have a power alloy composition and help reduce heat and gases built up at the center of the rotor.

FWIW, did your tech look at the inboard rear pads? This was my rear pads at...12 or 15,000 miles? The inboard is on the right.

Oh, and yes, the stock brakes suuuuuuck.

The pads I'm not worried about...but are the rotors difficult to remove on a TSX?

They're floating rotors, bolted to the hubs with #3 phillips screws. They're best detached and reattached with an impact screwdriver. You can get a Mickey Mouse one at Advance, O'Reilly, etc for about $8-$10. The guys at the counter *should* be able to show you how to use it.

Basically you place the driver on the screw & strike it with a medium size hammer & it twists to loosen or tighten on the other end.

Since you have a '10, you might want to look at my gallery for the revised caliper pin locations for the rear brakes. If any questions just PM me.
