XM - some free channels [with XM not activated]
Hey guys,

anyone getting some free XM channels in their TSX eventhough your subscription is not active? i'm getting lots of channels although some of the big name or premium channels are not there.

i just fiddled around with the xm couple of days ago and were surprised to hear some channels....i went to the channel list and there you would see the list of channels you can access. not sure how long will this last but good enough for a freebee

btw, it also has some news channels like cnn, msnbc, espn....

received a e-mail from xm a few days ago-they are giving 2 weeks of free service on my inactive account. Checked it out and it is working.

they are trying to get new customers, they already have you. We do have xm in the tsx, sirius is in our hyundai and that is where we are getting the 2 weeks of free service.

anyone knows when this would end? i never got any email or mail about the free channels.

It's good from May 24 to June 6th, 2011. Works up here in Canada also. Enjoy the 60 channels. It's automatically turned on for everyone, no need to sign up.

I didn't seem to have 60 channels, and on several of them it seemed to default to an XM preview overview type channel.

free xm ended yesterday-6/6-have to wait and they will do it again-do not know when.

I bought mine 3 weeks ago and have been receiving the free XM. I didn't put it on this morning so if it's no longer active I'm gonna be bummed.

you still will get it-if you do not continue it after the 3 month trial period they will give you some free weeks to try to get you to subscribe. Do not know exactly how often they do it.
