What is the Model#\Dimesions\type of rocker switch of the VSA button ?
Morning Fellow Ziners.
Question for you all...
Does anyone know what model#\dimension\type of rocker switch I would need to get in order to put an on\off power switch in one off the 2 rough outs beside the VSA button … and where can I get it. Currently looking a Princess Auto … they have Automotive 12 VDC Rocker switches but don’t seem to have an exact fit to that rough out … would have to cut or drill the rough out cover not really a big deal but just trying to keep it simple and clean.
This past weekend I pre-wired a relay, wires and OEM style fog light switch (spare for my 99 Civic SiR) in hopes of putting that in one of the rough outs. From the outside the rough out cover is the same size but after popping the cover off and inserting the switch it would only go half way in … some other smaller rectangular piece of plastic in the back of the knee bolster preventing it from going all the way in. This would have been a clean, simple cheap solution not for the darn piece of plastic. I’m trying to avoid drilling and cutting if possible.
The whole purpose of this exercise was to wire an on/off switch for the remote wire to my amp so I can turn the AMP off when I don’t want extra BASS.
Thanks for any suggestions …

here is what the 07 accord fog switch looks like in my wagon,
it snaps in but leaves a small gap around the switch, color matches good. i also bought the harness but you could maybe just solder to the switch to save maoney.
part numbers used:
08V31-SDA-1M035 Honda Accord Fog Light Switch
08V31-SDA-10030 Honda Accord Fog Light Switch Harness

Thanks Alot Robpp ... exactly what I was looking for.
So I can walk into my friendly Honda Dealer and order ...
do you remember the cost of both the switch and the harness ?
Are you in Canada as well ?

Finally got around to calling my local Honda dealer today ...
$53.37 + 13% HST for switch --> $60.31
did not bother asking for price of harness.
I was expecting $25 or so compared to $16 USD
Holy Crap !
For a push on off switch ??
Will Look around to see what else is out there. This is nuts.
Will post if I find anything worthwhile

Get them online from someone or something. I searched the part number for the switch and it says it's only $16 new w/o shipping (Like robpp said). But confirm before ordering. As for oemacuraparts, I used them to buy a replacement side mirror before and no problems, oem equipment and good service.

Edit: Sorry... I didn't see you were posting from Canada. Still though, maybe e-mail them, they might ship there.
