Voice Guidance

I've had my '09 PWP TSX Tech since May, 2008 and I love the car. After 15 months of ownership, I actually discovered a new feature today:

On the navigation system, if you go into "SETTINGS"; "VOICE GUIDANCE PROMPTS" and you select "MAXIMUM", the system will actually say the name of upcoming streets/roads to turn on. For example, it will say "in 1/2 mile turn left on Main street", etc. Obviously, this only works if you have a destination currently programmed into the system.

I've always had the voice guidance prompt set to medium, in which case the system doesn't verbally read the street names to you.

I don't know if this has already been posted here before, so I thought I'd share this information....pretty neat!

I stumbled upon this too when I was driving to a friends house 2 hours away several months ago. I noticed the max setting and tried it out when someone on this forum said it spoke street names but they didn't say how. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the name of the street and I had to do a double take! lol
