Can anyone help me reset the previous owners 4 digit pin they had set on thier HFL. I have tried contacting the previous owner but his number is disconnected now, and the local Acura dealer is charging a ridiculous amount to reset the pin for me?

I don't even remember setting up a pin. Whats the pin do? From what I know the pin was default didn't know you could change it :-\ you check the user manual? hmm scaarrryyy I don't even know mine

 

The pin is setup by the driver, its prevent anyone else besides the person who setup/knows the pin to use the HFL. Pretty stupid if you ask me, unless the guy didn't want his wife/girlfriend going through his phonebook or call logs.....

Unless you setup a pin there is no factory or default pin so you should be fine.

 

yeah i know what pin ur tlakin about...sadly i dont know how to reset them. does it say in the manual? if not i guess u hvae ot take it back to the dealer..

 

I think that you can comoletely reset the HFL back to bactory default. I don't have my manual with me here but check the complete list of commands in there. You will erase everythink, hopefully also reset the pin
