My brother has had problems with his mustang's alternator and he's even gotten a yellow top battery and he has a capcitor but he still has issues so he got a much bigger alternator. He is running 2 jl 12 w6 v2 pushed by a 1000W jl mono block amp. I really want to avoid any problems that he has had with his car due to his system so I was wondering if anyone on here has had the same problem. If so what subs/amp do you have and if you've fixed the problem please explain. Basically i guess I want to know what kind of wattage should be used without having to add any aftermarket parts. I'm planning on gettin one jl 12w7 and I really want to push a 1000w amp.
