Here is the trunk (spare tire well where the amps will go):

All closed up. Yes, I will be using the factory cover for the spare tire well. Haven't seen this done before, but maybe it has.

Lift it up and this is what you will see.

The red will be covered with black perforated suede and will look like this.

Nice update. How are you going to build your charging system to handle all those amps and current draw. I assume the "big three" is obvious, but will you be upgrading your alternator as well?

If you do the big three, please let me know which contact points you use because its something i have yet to do. Esp getting a lug to fit the stock alternator positive terminal.

Looks good man... Any suggestions for putting amps underneath the rear deck.. I bought threaded rods but can't seem to figure out how to lay it all out.. The holes don't really line up

Right now, not planning on doing anything. You have to calculate the actual draw each amp would draw based on impedance load, frequency range, listening volume, etc. I ran almost the same setup in my TL with no issues. I do have an upgraded battery that helped a lot.

My only suggestion would be cut a piece of wood to mount the amp(s) on and secure the wood by bolting through the rear deck.

if you are worried about the wood starting to rattle after time then just use loctite on the screws and the vibrations wont unscrew the screws in my experience. Here is a shot of my trunk and amps mounted on a shelf under the rear deck.

Also, how are you planning to route "the factory head unit into the auxiliary input of the aftermarket". I think that is just brilliant.
