NAV options?
NAV options?
Are there any options for the Nav system in the 2nd gen cars? I can't seem to find them, and the manual doesn't mention them. Specifically, I'm looking for the Nav to navigate to destination using shortest time, not shortest route in miles.
I was on the way to NY from NH and I decided to ignore the NAV because I wanted to take the Meritt instead of 95. The NAV suddenly went from telling me I was 4h30m away from home (which I knew had to be wrong) to 2h 30m -- all because of ONE TURN. How is that even possible?
I do not trust the NAV system in this car and want to know if anyone has encountered anything like this? It has happened several times, where the car reported a crazy number for hours/minutes, and then as soon as I made a turn, it changed radically.
Also, when I am in the car, the nav seems to always point in the direction of the car. When my wife drives, north is always north, which she said makes things really difficult when trying to navigate. What is the setting that changes this? Apparently I did it at one point on Driver2.
Thanks!
