Modify Navi / Change Boot Screen?

I know that it is very possible and fairly easy to change the start up screen on a 1st gen TSX but has anyone ever tried doing it for a 2nd gen TSX?

The instructions (here, as well as all over the net) are fairly dated and do not mention that they work on a 2nd gen TSX.

So is it even possible on a 2nd gen TSX? I hope so!

Thanks for the quick reply! I searched all over the web but it never dawned on me to search for a Honda solution over an Acura one!

Looks a little more daunting than the 1st gen TSX instructions but I'm still up for the challenge. I'll post back my results tomorrow as I am going to give my car a good was has well :-)

+ rep to you! (even though I don't think there is rep on these forums, I am still giving it to you )

Just finished trying it, and I couldn't get it to work :-/

After I burnt the new CD, put it in the car and downloaded the software, the car would display the Please Wait" screen, and about 20 seconds later the system would reboot back to the invalid DVD screen.

Note that the file I used was 09Jog2.bin and 09Jog.bin

Has anyone got this to work?

I attempted using the 1G TSX/3G TL steps on this back in october. But couldn't get it to work. Apparently our new system is a lot more harder to crack compared to the 1G.

actually with mine, after the 20 seconds, it just went back to the original nav screen.
