anyone know which bulb is used for the license plate lighting on the tsx

 

trying to put a blue one in...

I have xenon white LED license plate lights, but be careful with blue, because that's illegal

 

blue license plate lights are illegal.

google "osram sylvania" and use that to look up all your bulb types for the car

194/168 wedge type bulb. blue is illegal and makes the car look cheap IMO, go with pure white looks clean

 

I was actually in a car behind my own TSX yesterday and just sat there and admired my xenon white license plate lights. LOL.

 

kid, do ur led license lights hit the ground?

 

i have led license plate lights too, idk about kids, but mine dont hit the ground. They are nice and white, but not all powerful. If you are going for the ultra white lexus look you should consider a cathode tube mod

if there is a plug and play bulb better than the leds im currently using that gives great output though i am all ears

 

Yeah, they do, they light up quite a bit of the ground under the back of the car too

i have the sizes of all the lights, but idk how many SMDs i should get in them, and idk if theres different kinds of led's. help would be appreciated. i just know the size, and that they should be white lol. still need 4 visor lights, 2 license plate lights, 2 door lights, and 2 trunk lights

 

go with all the lights in the led thread, they worked perfectly, just get the trunk lights that kid posted instead
