OP I would not go to ebay for the LED's....

I would rather buy from SuperbrightLEDs or Autolumination or VLEDS

The LED's that fit the license plate/door/dome are 194....you might want to check the application here:

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...lacementGuide/

The order those bulbs from the websites I mentioned above...Installation is very simple as well....

I bought all my LEDs from iJDMtoy except for the license plate lights. I bought those from eBay and they're still going strong. I can't say the same for my vanity lights though, bought those from ebay and they're cheap china shit. They flicker and sometimes are on and the rare chance that both of them are on.

KG, I was looking at my license plate bulbs when comparing it to yours and mine (from ebay) aren't as bright as the ones frol v-led but for sure, they're brighter then the original ones you got. Do you remember which bulb you got? I'm interested in seeing if the difference in placement of the SMD's affect the light output in our license plate housings.

+1 All mine are from eBay as well and I don't have any issues so far. Still bright as hell.

It is true that you get what you pay for but for these LEDs, even if one craps out, most of the LEDs I got off eBay were around a buck...so no real loss there. I just cringe at the prices that v-led charges. Granted I'm sure it's worth it but I'm a stingy cheapass chinese guy so I trust my mainland brothers work! (until the bulbs don't work, then I'll make a thread bashing eBay china bulbs).

TSXKid, I had the same issue at first but what I realized was that the ends of the LED's weren't centered around the clips. After I shifted the bulbs to fit the ends better (contact point wise) and made sure all the LEDs were facing outward, I haven't had any issue with flickering or having one not come on. Try it out.

i installed all my LEDs last year in april, so its been a year and a half and its going strong still. the only problem i have is with one of the license plate bulb sometimes it doesnt come on (just happened recently, not sure if it's just a lose connection or the bulb problem. i have to go and check it out when i am not lazy)

but +1 on you get what you pay for, just IMO i dont know if i can spend that much on just leds lol

For what it's worth, I bought my LEDs on Amazon and they've been working fine on my '09, and now my '11.
