Just finished hardwiring the radar detector...
like the title said. wasn't that hard at all. the install took about 30 minutes. I have a Cobra XRS 9745 and bought the hardwire kit online. Also bought a T-tap and a male spade from Radio shack which costs about 5 bucks. All you need is a screwdriver and a zip tie if you want to be neat.

you don't have to take apart the dashboard at all because i hardwired it to the sunroof. I will take pictures when the rain stops. been raining down here all day.
