FYI, I found out that a recent update to an app I use (Music Controls, available via Cydia) now adds the AVRC bluetooth profile to the iPhone for a lot of music apps. This is handy because it allows you to now use the steering wheel controls for any of these apps when connected via bluetooth.

Hope someone finds this useful..

The app is called "Music Controls" and is available via Cydia or Rock. It's $4.99 but well worth it IMO. It does a lot more than just add AVRC for bluetooth, it was originally created to add lockscreen controls to a (continually growing) number of third party music apps (like Pandora, last.fm, OrbLive, etc..). It also will automatically keep them running in the background while you run other apps (you may need backgrounder also for this, but that is free if so...and a must have anyway). There is a 5 day demo available also, and a non-expiring version that only works with Pandora if you want to try it first..

Sorry if it wasn't clear, but you do need to jailbreak your phone to get this, which if you have not yet done, you are missing out on some very nice features that i would highly recommend doing so for..
