How do I make the Nav Screen Auto Dim? (2009 TSX)
I have the new 2009 acura tsx tech. how do I make the Nav screen auto dim? I tried to roll the brightness dile back almost all the way and it still stays bright in the night time. Am I forced just to used the moon sun icon on the dash? My wife has an 2009 acura RDX and the auto dimming works fine. It also worked fine on our 2006 acura tsx. How do you make this work?

try this, worked for me: have the brightness dial clicked all the way up, turn on the headlights, then turn the dial back from full. you should see the screen dim auto now. if you read the manual, it states that if you hit the display button and switch it manually it will not switch auto until the car is turned off and back on.

is the navigation screen supposed to automatically change to the night mode when the headlights come on or when the light sensor tells it to?
Mine hasn't been and I find it pretty annoying to have to do it everytime I get in the car.

yea it should. if it doesnt. then theres a problem..
you have your instrument panel brightness set to full. twist it one click to hte left and your nav screen will go into night mode when the headlights come on.
