Hey all!

I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem: any time I receive a call on my cell phone and I'm in my car, the phone number of the person calling shows up on the dashboard. The problem is that I don't have all 300+ phone numbers in my cell phone memorized. Is there any way to make the dashboard display either the name of the person calling (based on the imported phone book into the system) or to display the name and phone number?

nope...this is one of my major beefs with this car

 

I keep my blackberry in the cupholder at all times..when a call comes in, I just glance at the phone..not the best thing to do, but for me it works..plus, I don't get many calls in the car.

 

if the cup hodler is too far or low for u, jsut put it on the side of hte door, behind the window switches. i put my iphonethere and when a call comes, i glance at it. up to u thoguh

 

The integration of the phonebook in the Nav and it's interface to HFL is less than stellar.

I just glance at my phone or don't answer it. I can always call back And like another poster, I don't get a ton of calls in my car and I only answer those whose numbers I know.

I've started to put my phone in the little slot on the left (behind the window switches like ed_423). I'm sure we all agree that having the caller ID in the car without the name defeats the whole purpose of it...but, oh well!
