I've had the same BB for 2 yrs, no changes. When I bought my 09 TSX, I set up my HF with my BB, no problems. Then one day out of the blue, it just lost the connection and I have not been able to re-establish the two. I've run through all the steps as though it were new, I've checked my Bluetooth connection on my BB and it cannot find the HF link. I've run through all the troubleshooting exercises to no avail. Any suggestions? I think I'm going to let my Acura dealership deal with it next week when I take it in for my regular maintenance.

Well...can you successfully use another bluetooth headset with your BB? If so, then it's most likely not your phone.

I would go into "setup" via HF and do an "edit" to see if the HFL system still has your BB in it's list of phones paired. if the BB is mentioned in the playback, then I'd delete it. If it's not mentioned, then the HFL system doesn't even know your phone exists.

Next I'd try again to pair. If still unsuccessful, I'd find someone who also has a bluetooth phone to see if their phone connects. If it won't, then it's the car's HFL most likely. If it will, then it's your BB that's the culprit.

 

try the auto-diagnostic function: press and hold the "hang up" button of the HFL for a while (something like 10 seconds) and the system will auto test and you will get a voice message.

You can also try resetting the system to factory defaults and re-start the pairing process.
