Does anyone have any DVD-A discs??

I picked up "14 Shades of Grey" by Staind the other day and it sounds pretty damn good. I'm trying to get my hands on Metallica's "Black album" but thats going for way too much money on ebay, even used. I know these are becoming obsolete but I woulnd't mind getting a couple albums. Anyone have a collection, besides the one that came with the car? Any good sites to get these from??

What disc came with your car? I just picked up a 2010 TSX Tech & didn't get any discs with it...

Should've been an Acura demo disc with random songs in DVD-A format. Nothing great really, but sounds very good.

Some dealers keep them and either give them away or sell them. When I bought my last Acura, I had to ask them "Where's the demo DVD-A" and the reply was "Oh, I think I left it on my desk".

No, but if you have a Macintosh computer, it is easy to make your own DVD-A discs with DVD-Audiofile (freeware) from a group of CDs in .wav format. The DVD-Audiofile program, which I think is available in a Windows version, is freeware. Not having a Windows computer, I may be wrong as to its availability, but it should be easy for a Windows user to find out.

Take the resultant disc image and burn it to a blank DVD-R or DVD+R, and it should play perfectly on a 2009-10 Tech Package TSX or 2006-08 TL and perhaps other Acura models. However, I am not sure that your new DVD is true DVD-A quality; what I am confident of is that the disc you will have made is compatible with the cars I have mentioned. Good luck!
