So I have been reading a ton of threads and searching about this through the forums. I'm looking for a kit that will play my ipod nano, charge it, and retain all functionality of my stereo including xm radio. I dont care if the cd changer has to be disabled. I would like to be able to control my music directly from the ipod click wheel interface and possibly from the steering wheel controls in my car. text of songs being played on the screen would be an added bonus.

Is there a clear winner as to which ipod integration kit will do this? Also, i plan on getting an iphone in the not too distant future (hopefully the new model when it comes out).

Will this void the ability to play the iphone in my car? I'm hoping whatever kit i buy and install on my own, will allow for future ipods to play it's music and hopefully charge it as well (or at least play the music)
