Car alarm
Hey fooks,
I have juust bought a beautifull Accord tourer euro 2.4i 2009 manual, beside the shape the same as a TSX 2009. Installed a compustar alarm and remote start and a can bus bypass myself. Everything is working EXCEPT I cant control the alarm with the original OEM remote. This should be possible.
I got two wires from the compu brain which I can connect to the unlock (-) en lock (-) wires of the car. This will arm the alarm with the OEM remote (remote starting I believe is not possible with OEM remote).
An installer manual 12volt is saying something about the orange and white & brown wire in the driver kick panel (is it nearby fux box/ hood opener?)
Anyone any experience with this???
Thanx for help.

I just installed my Viper 5901 yesterday. I know the CANMAX400 has that feature through the d2d connection.... As far as those wires, they're in the door going from the key cylinder to the lock switch.

Just installed mine this weekend with Viper 5901 and Flashlogic FLCAN module. OEM remote arms/disarms the alarm through CAN bus. If you wire up D2D you dont need to hook up any wires involving door locks/door sensors. OEM remote should be able to control your alarm and your alarm should also arm your factory security system.
RPJ28: Did you hook up your defroster? What other aux channels did you use?
Im going to hook up my defroster and heated seats next when i get the chance.

I hooked up my defroster for the hell of it... I used 2 aux channels besides trunk release, 1 to roll windows up/close sunroof, the other to roll down windows/open sunroof, something else that i never used... i also hooked up the parking light wire to the side mirror led's, but had to go into both front doors, find the right wires, cut them and insert diodes to prevent it from back feeding to the rest of the turn signals. obviously i just did that for fun too..

cool! I agree about the windows. The OEM does open the windows up but i never used it and definitely not when i remote start the car. I also did not tap the parking lights because i did not want to attract attention to thieves that the car is remote started. Anyway i got confirmation on the 2 way remote so i don't need the flashers.
Just curious, where did you tap your defroster? at the defroster switch itself or somewhere else?
