I've seen some posts on the forum that complain about the quality of the bluetooth interface on the TSX. There are also numerous complaints about a poor iPod interface, with difficulty scrolling. However these posts appear to be 2010 and previous, so I'm wondering if the interface improved with the updated technology package in 2011.

Anyone know?

I just purchase my TSX with tech package. I notice that when using my ipod (iphone4) tru usb it seems to skip like a cd (not always but does it pretty often) even though the song is perfectly which i downloaded from itunes. Does your do this? Its kinda bugging me.

Mine skips occasionally.. how does an MP3 even skip?? Hopefully an update is forthcoming because the iPod interface was a big selling point on the Tech.

I own a 2011 TSX w/tech and I think the Ipod interface works beautifully. No issues whatsoever.

I'm not having any issues with my '11 tech iPod interface either. Why in the world would you scroll anyway? It's voice activated. Just tell it what to play and it plays it. Tell it what to list on the screen and it lists it. There's no need to take your eyes off the road to scroll. I barely touch any of the buttons on the dash anymore. I just tell the car what to do and it does it. It's for this reason that sometimes I wish could marry the car instead of my fiance'.

I'm surprised the "Song by Voice" feature that's new in the 11 TSX/tech doesn't get talked about more often. I think that is my favorite feature of the vehicle. It makes it so convenient, especially when you have over a thousand songs like I do stored on the Ipod, to not have to touch the dash and scroll through to play a song you want to hear. Plus, friends think it's cool!

I had no idea that was new for '11. I thought all 2nd gen TSXs with tech had it. When people list the changes for '11 that has never been mentioned.

Yep, in fact, even the 2011 TLs with tech don't have the Song by Voice feature available, although I hear it is now available on the 2012 TLs.

The 2011 TSXs with tech received a host of tech upgrades over the 2010/2009 TSXs . Besides adding the Song by Voice feature, it went from a DVD based Nav system to a hard drive based system and the Nav's resolution was also supposedly improved by 400%. 15 gigs of hard drive space to store music was added as well.
