Blown Speaker test?
Blown Speaker test?
I watched a Acura Tech put my Stereo in a test mode (about 2 years ago) and in that mode it sent a static signal to each speaker so you can hear it, but only to that one speaker at a time. It then rotated through each speaker so you can isolate what speaker (or speakers) might be bad.
Now I think I hear a blown speaker but want to test it before I bring it in. I have the Tech package 2009 Does any one know how to put the stereo in that mode?

yeah it does
Yeah it does, it's in the manual, here's a copy and paste, tried it a couple of times and works fine, I'v got a Honda Accord Euro CU2 Navi, but I read this in the Acura TSX 2009 manual. Just make sure to follow their instructions and turn up the volume before you begin so you can hear it properly.
• In some cases, you may not be able to enter a mode even if the designated button is pressed. In that case, try again.
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). Turn the audio unit off.
2. Push and hold the No. 1 and No. 3 buttons. While holding the buttons, push the VOL knob twice, and the speaker check mode begins. Release the buttons. The received audio from the FM default frequency is heard from one speaker.
NOTE: Make sure the volume is set to a normal or sightly higher than normal volume and set the balance and fader to the center position.
3. Each time you press the SKIP button, the test moves to the next the speaker in the order listed.
Hope this helps
