Audio voice

New owner, can't find an answer to this. When I switch from the map display to the audio display, there is an annoying voice that interrupts what is playing with the announcement of the station/channel. I'd like to turn this off if possible. I thought that maybe I was stuck with it, but then I noticed it didn't do it ALL the time. Sometimes it switches without any vocal announcement. I'm not doing anything differently as far as I can tell, and I can't make it purposely skip the announcement.

Is there a setting to turn this off that I haven't found? The Song By Voice music search doesn't affect it.

Thanks,
Scott

If you read the owner's manual you would know that it can be deactivated under audio settings. Even when "on" it will only announce changes when the car is moving.

I've been through both the owners manual and the navigation manual many times. I wouldn't have asked without trying to find it myself. I don't see any reference to this function at all in either manual. Do you have a page number?
