Adjusting GPS

Probably in the manual, but does anyone know the step to adjust the GPS? It's dead on accurate when turning on streets concerning the names, but for some reason my house address is off. It shows my position icon and home icon about 4 houses apart.

Nothing you can do. The mapping is wrong. While you can reset the car's position, that change is deleted when you turn the car off.

I have had a 2006, 2009, and now a 2012 TSX and every one was off by several houses. The funny thing is it has always been off by exactly the same house number. I’m at 403 and it thinks it’s 393.

Right. The gps knows where you are, the map is just off. Mapping of house numbers is an inexact science whereas intersection mapping is pretty exact.

Yep, it's the map and how it was entered in the system.

It has improved over the years though, in my '02 RL it had me about an 1/8th of a mile too far east. Now it's DEAD accurate.

If you have to rely on the map on your screen to know where your own house is.......

This is a minor annoyance for me as well. The perfectionist in me couldn't stand the arrow driving past the target when I get home every day. To correct this you can just put in a different address for your house.
