yeah i am going to revisit the entire setup of my car wiring, got 14 gauge from door speakers to 4 chan and the 4 chan is receiving a set of signals for front and another for the back speakers. I believe the signal is coming straight from the stock Headunit now to an LOC to the 4 chan but need to confirm im bypassing my stock amp.

WHo can help me with some info on confirming my stock amp has been bypassed?

What all you need help with on your setup? ask any questions you may have and i can try to provide an answer.

i dont think the stock amp has been bypassed properly, so im guessing yes just bc i have the same EQ issues with my 4 chan installed, likely bc the signal is coming from stock amp and not headunit.

Anyone got a wiring diagram?

EDIT: nvm i found diagram in post below this thread

the 1st thing my installer did was take the stock amp unplug it and give it to me and told me "or either you throw it away or have it as a trophy" just for the fact that i will not need it at all.... the cables that were plugged into the stock amp he took them stripped them and used them as signals, just remember the stock radio has an EQ of its own, i leave all the set up in the middle and change anything on my clarion EQ... but pretty soon im going to take out the EQ and go with digital amplifires *stetsom* expensive amplifier but makes sure that the sound you get out of it is clean!

well ordered a new pioneer AVH-X5600BHS with the metra harness and double din along with the PAC SWI-RI. Ms8 was great but now that we can do aftermarket double din now and have a DIY thats the route im going and getting rid of the MS-8.

Like most the MS-8 is more than i want to mess with although i did get it sounding good. with a new headunit i shouldnt have the need for it.
