How do I get my iPod to random shuffle songs?

 

what ipod do you have? im sure it has a shuffle feature and u can turn it on from there. then just plug and play.

 

I have a 2010...I assume it's the same. while the ipod is playing, go to the ipod menu if you have audio displayed on your nav screen. from there, you can goggle on or off the random feature. hit the audio button again, and you should be shuffled. My shuffle sometimes turns off by itself, and I dont know why...
