2010 TSX - Bluetooth to USB Audio
I have a 2010 TSX with a USB audio connector in the console. I have used this with USB stick drives with audio on them for years, works great. However, now I would like to play my phone through the USB adapter, preferably by using bluetooth.
There are a number of USB to Bluetooth adapters available on the market. However, most all of them are to adapt a bluetooth headset to your computer. But there are a few that support audio.
Has anyone found an adapter that plugs into the USB port in the console and gives you bluetooth that you can connect to your phone and play audio through? Basically just like using a USB stick with audio on it, but it offers out bluetooth for your phone to connect to?
Thanks, gabo

Usb is going to have better sonic qualities than Bluetooth. Any device that has Bluetooth capability should be able to be paired with your radio but I don't know if they can be paired simultaneously. My guess would be no.
Yeahhh nothing exists out there to do what you want. The USB port is expecting a mass storage device. You're basically looking for some sort of magical device that would transfer a file in real time and be stored somewhere in a file system for the computer to then ingest. Best to just continue using a USB drive for music, or find a bluetooth to Aux (assuming the car has an AUX port) and plug it that way.
I figured as much. Acura outsmarted themselves by putting the USB port and NO standard 3.5mm AUX port. Through the AUX port in my other car, I can purchase a cheap device that plays USB sticks and a device that plays through bluetooth. So it becomes a more universal port that can do most things.

If I'm understanding what you are asking this 'MIGHT' help/solve your problem. If your stereo doesn't have Bluetooth built-in, there's also Bluetooth car kits that will give you this functionality. The
and
are a couple of great inexpensive options.
