I just purchased a 2010 v6 tech and I've read on multiple threads that there are issues with blown speakers what are the symptoms of the els audio issues I should look out for ... I've tested it and everything seems fine for now .. I still have 1 month left on the original warranty

I get a buzzing noise from speaker. Dealer replaced speaker under warranty.

I also have ELS/Tech

Buzzing noise like static. It's a noise that will stick out to your ears.

Mine buzzed when I listed to talk radio and advertisements. Play around with speaker/sound direction and you can isolate which speaker is buzzing if you think something is going on.

I changed the front 6 1/2's and left the rest stock. I don't think the ELS tuning is all that. I couldn't tell that the sound difference was off by switching out two.

 

It is a static buzz. Its the same sound when radio gets no recepton. Hurts your ears.

Took it to dealer, morons couldn't replicate.

I sat in the service bay, moved the sound to each speaker, and isolated it to the rear passenger speaker.

They didn't have speakers in stock. Next time I went in, they repalced both rear speakers.
