2009 tsx with nav doesn't display cd music info
our 2009 tsx with nav doesn't display cd music info on the navigation screen. I have loaded only store bought cd's into the cd player. If i plug in my ipod....or use the xm radio everything (song title and album title) will display. It is just the cd...original-store bought....not a copy cd that just shows track number and cd number....but it does not display any other information on the screen...hmmmm.....i wonder what that is?? has anyone else had this problem?
thanks for your response.
thanks for your response.
I had the same problem!
It's probably because "store-bought" CDs aren't in MP3 format (or it doesn't include CD text). I can be wrong though!
It bugs me a lot, so I just burn a copy of the CD with text included via iTunes.

I agree with you it is lame....and a little disapointing... and hey ....i appreciate the suggestion to burn a copy from itunes..Mp3 ..i will try that out. I also called the dealership....they said this model does not have the "gracenote" program which adds all of that info ...but some of the other acura models do...he sees it added to all models in the future. Thanks again for the input!
