Hey everyone - I know there are many threads in the site about upgrading the sound system (aftermarket HU's, speakers, etc). I would like to just replace the stock HU for an aftermarket one with touchscreen and Nav, but am hesitant to lose climate control and steering controls.

So instead, I am thinking about leaving the stock HU for a clean look, but upgrading the stock display unit with Nav and touchscreen. I have found one that works with the Honda Spirior and says it is compatible with the TSX.

Has anyone heard of (or tried) this or something similar to this? The site suggests a clean install, but it's rare to see a vendor that says "or stuff doesn't work very well, but we try hard", yano?

These chinese units have been installed in our tsx and the climate display does not work or isn't compaitable with North American TSX. SO be aware

Thanks for the info guys! And thanks for the reference thread evo9, that aftermarket deck install looks deadly. Removing all of those buttons really tidied up the interior!
