You'll still pass emissions tests. It still utilizes a high-flow cat, unlike a test pipe which deletes it entirely.

Just FYI we are the company who is thinking about manufacturing this part. What I would need though is someone's original pipe and cat, basically illustration #1 and 4. Or we would need someone in the Phoenix, AZ area who is willing to drop off the car for a few days. You would get a free pipe and free installation.

If intake is CARB LEGAL it'll pass emissions period. This DP would still maintain a CAT but just hi-flow so should still pass while allowing your cat-back exhaust to produce more power than it would w/o the downpipe.

Just to clarify what Josh is doing. The main cat stays butb the 2nd cat removed with larger piping.

Quoting josh i my conversation to pas on to you "We wouldnt modify the primary at all. we would replace the pipe and second cat with one long pipe"

Awesome... The more votes the better. Maybe he'll even do a group by for 1st batch i can't know. I asked Josh if he'd be willing to do this part for my old family ath drive accord.net since i owned a 8th gen accord 4cyl coupe previous to this and i knew the TSX owners would be down too. Should make for great gains especially with an exhaust.

Dude. It's happening now. Calm down...lol. Just hope it yields power and at a price that everyone finds acceptable to purchase. Seeing how the V6 owners pay the reasonable price for their J-pipes, I don't see this pipe not being priced reasonably as well.

So it's a definite now? Any expectancy on prices?

Hey, so i'm one of the accord guys, decided to join up over here to help get this thing out to us.

Excellerate how soon do you guys need a car to test fit on? I live in the bay area, but wouldn't mind the drive for a free pipe. I can stay with my cousin who lives in Phoenix so it'll be convenient. Bad thing is I have school and am not free until probably the first days of March. So if I could do it in March and you could get it done in 2-3 days then that would be awesome.

The main thing for me is the time spent working on the car in the garage and like I said looking/sounding/being unique.

I did start a thread awhile back looking to see if any one has any ties to Skunk2 to see if they were planing on coming out with a cat back for our 2nd gen and got no decent reply from anyone on here or from Skunk2 for that matter. Would that happen to be the company??? Have to ask.
There is a company that makes one in the forum. I'll ask him to post here.

Yes it is. They can give a price until they know how much it'll cost to make after they produce the 1st copy. I can tell you it should be reasonable. As much as it is the the J-pipes that are for the V6 is good priced.

The forum nazi's shut it down. The money hungry bastards don't want any mention of a company that isn't a forum sponsor

I'm telling you, you need to take it over to my8thgen.com where my thread which was a copy/paste of your thread has a lot of interest.

And i'll im him tonight/tommorow i'm away from home right now.
