ummm yeah!
that product is well praised.

I have nothing but optimum products.

We have a wash and wax section here on Acurazine...visit it. we refer to this product as ONR(optimum No Rinse)

so guys, i am going to buy it and try it on my black TSX. would you guys recommend it on a black car? I am still a little afraid of possible scratches. I will also purchase the following:

http://www.autogeek.net/the-bone.html

I will use The Bone to apply the solution onto my car.

http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-waffle-weave.html

I will use the waffle weave to dry.

I will also get 2 5 gallon buckets: 1 with teh ONR solution, the other with water for rinsing (also with a grit guard).

is this good?

eshine.ca its a company based there in Ontario. The 32oz. cost only $13.19 on sale reg. $17.59 They sell other cleaning stuff too. This is actually where I bought my Lexol leather cleaner.

here is the link for the ONRWS > http://www.eshine.ca/optimum_no_rins..._32oz-1609.php

Their gallon is out of stock. Its quite pricey tho $47.99 but hey if this stuff really works then I guess its well worth for that price.

There is another canadian website that sells car care stuff
its carcaresmart.com this one is based here in Burnaby, BC

if the car is heavily soiled, its a good idea to rinse before hand. or else you risk scratching and marring your paint.

but correct, after you put the soap on there shouldnt be any rinsing involved

I used it all the time when we were in drought and I coudl not wash my car outside. I would use buckets in garage. But I do not use it when I can wash outside using hose.

This stuff is great and a little goes a long way. A gallon would last a very long time.

Here is a helpful hint, go to HD or Lowes and buy a small garden sprayer. 1/2 gal is probably enough, 1 gal is more than enough. Mix 1 to 1.5 caps in with warm water and use the sprayer to _mist_ your car. Let it sit for a few minutes, this loosens up the dirt. Then follow up with your sponge, cleans up easier and less risk of scratches. I can wash my car this way in the garage in the winter with hardly a mess and of course no need for a hose.

ok, guys. please tell me if this is a good plan to clean my car using this stuff. i have a black TSX so i want to make absolute sure nothing wrong happens.

1. Use hose and hose the car from top to bottom.
2. Using a garden spray with the No Rinse Solution, spray all over the car and let it sit for a few minutes.
3. Hose car down again so more of the dirt that was loosened up by the solution gets off the car.
4. Using a two bucket system, (1 with water and a grit guard, the other with 2 gallons of water + 2 caps of No Rinse solution), put my Cobra Bone into the solution bucket and GENTLY apply it one area at a time on my car. After washing an area, place the Cobra Bone into the water bucket and try to get rid of most of the dirt that is on the Cobra Bone.
5. Wipe washed area dry with Cobra Microfiber waffle weave.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the car is clean.

Is this a good plan?

That is a pretty conservative approach, probably don't need the 2nd rinsing but I know how easy it is to scratch a black car. Just one other comment, never wash in circles, always wash in the direction of air flow over the body. This way if you do scratch they won't be as noticable. Also, go from top down, and do the front and lower panels last as they are the dirtiest and more prone to picking up debris that will scratch. I sometimes use a separate sponge for those areas.
