Unhappy Window Visors?

Hey everyone, I just wanted to know what is the difference between the JDM window visors and the OEM window visors. Any pictures would be great as I've only seen the OEM ones and google doesn't help me out much. The OEM ones are $113 (AU dollars) and not sure how much the JDM ones are, I think above $200 though..

Sorry if there is already a thread on this. I'm using phone net and it lags a lot

Thanks,

Steven.

Get the weathertech ones. By far the best looking and nicest ones out for our car. They are low profile and made in germany...

Thanks, Steven.
JDM has chrome strip on it, looks better in my opinion, the OEM is black so it cover up the chrome trim on the door when installed.

Here's how JDM looks like:

^^ That looks dope...looks integrated..isn't the JDM also thinner/more flush and doesn't bulge out as much?

the weathertech ones don't cover the chrome, go into the window channel, technically can't be stolen, and look really sleek

Hmmmm, both the weathertech ones and the JDM ones look nice. If only the picture on weathertech was on a stock are (chrome trim) it'd make my decision easier :\

On Honda Japan website, it is selling for JPY¥ 26,000 or US$320.00 in Japan. Add shipping and handling, it will be around $400. Best look at the WeatherTech one unless you know someone in Japan who can get you a cheaper rate.

http://www.semotors.com/products/SE-...ow-Visors.html

From the looks of pics it looks just like the ones posted on this thread.

I'm going order these after doing a bit more research to see if site is legit.

I paid about $360 shipped. Took about a week to get it. Here's the link where I bought it. You might need a translator but they'll happily ship to the US. The quality is the same as the other OEM ones, just it has the additional chrome part on it. They also have the ones for the wagon.

Here's the english buy link:

I found a site where they are selling it for 75+shipping. Looks like a GREAT deal and it looks exactly the same as the black tsx above.

Those look good in the pics, but those pics are kinda far away. Great deal if they're decent quality.

Do they do shipping? The OEM ones are $113 but they're a bit 'fatter' than the JDM ones.. the JDM ones are thinner at the front (near the front side mirror) and then gets 'fatter' towards the back. If these are legit and cheap for shipping, I'm down =O

Those look like replicas of the weathertech ones in the way they install. However if im looking at it correctly they don't go all the way along the window like the weathertech ones. And i believe the JDM ones from above don't go all the way down, meaning they stop where the mirror trim starts.

yup those are the weathertechs. IMO these are awesome quality, and look great. No sense in spending 400 bucks for a piece of plastic, an added benefit i guess is that there made in germany lol

super easy! the hardest part was having the windows close because the damn sensor but all you do is manual hold the button until the window fully closes and bam! that's it

I just checked weathertech.ca and the front and rear set will just cost $157 CAD shipped. Not bad, I think I will save up and buy this for my car. I like how it doesn't cover the chrome part and its much cheaper than the OEM ones

The weathertech ones are nice. I've had them on a previous car. The only reason I didn't get them this time is that I didn't like them in the window channel. You have to squeeze them in between the rubber seal and the metal frame from what I remember, and I felt as though it put some stress on the surrounding parts as well as deformed the seal a bit. It wasn't by much, but I opted for the stick on OEMs this time around instead.

Yes you are correct. The OEM ones don't go all the way down the front. It stops when the horizontal hits the vertical part of the window.
