Wheel question! 17x9 +25
Super noob here, I'm wondering how 17x9 et25 would fit my 2010 TSX. I've seen people with our sedans usually go with 18's or 19's but the wheels I want only go up to 17. I'll be on BC BR Series Coilovers as well. Just looking for some advice and help with this. I have a lot to learn.

On paper, you'd have an additional 5mm clearance to the inside of the car - no problems.
The outter lip would extend an additional 55mm over stock. Over 2". I'm pretty sure that would poke out of the wheel wells. I think you could do that at stock height or just a little lower. Dropped more than that and you're looking at fender work and getting things tucked back in with suspension work. Hello camber and goodbye tires!

Really depends on multiple variables so it's a bit too complex for a simple answer. Plus, how it looks is highly subjective.
Go poke around the photography section of 2nd gen TSX and see what some others have done to get an idea of what appeals to you and then read up on their setup and what it took to get there.
Good luck, and welcome!

Both. 17's will look too small if you aren't lowered, and 9" +25 will stick out past your fender, so your car will look like a low-rider on Dayton's. Lol
I say at least go 18" if you want that width+offset.

For now I only have the money for wheels like Avids or XXR. Should I worry about cracking with wheels for that price? I can't drop 3K on wheels right now..
Or are there any brands you'd recommend that have larger lips?

Good choice.
We have members on here with XXR's and they haven't had any complaints. As long as you're not tracking your car or running extremely skinny tires, you shouldn't have to worry about wheels cracking.

35 profile on what width? 35 simply means the sidewall in millimetres will be 35% of the tire's width, in millimetres.
35 on a 215? Ultra skinny at 215mm*0.35 = ~75mm.
35 on a 255? Decent thickness tire at 255*0.35 = ~89mm.
