I hate, hate, hate, how fast my tuna sandwich goes bad in the glovebox of my US TSX.

1. Auto-leveling headlights
2. Headlight washers
3. front spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser
4. Rain sensing wipers
5. Diesel option (as of now)
6. Refridgerated Glove box
7. Internally adjustable headlight height
Don't get too picky on features. I can live without a refrigerated glove box. Our friends to the north in Canada don't even get leather standard.

For me, the jury is out on the paddle shifters moving with the wheel vs being fixed. I found a situation in a tight hard turn where the paddle shirters were opposite (as the wheel was 180 degrees center)..

In moves where the wheel goes from 45-90 degrees, the shifters moving with the wheel works well.

Hmmm. The Evo X has fixed paddles, and everyone seems to bag them. Hard to please everyone I guess. I haven't driven an evo X yet as they are not out in Australia, but the auto euro I took for a drive was nice. I like the paddles. I thought they are really well done.

I still brought a manual though.....

I just hope someone can come up with a dash mat with that funky dash design.

Info Screen Glare

I've had my TSX for a while now and on a sunny day the glare on my center dash info screen is getting a bit old. I am seriously considering removing the plastic protection screen to see if that helps. I know they make anti-glare film but not sure if that really helps.

NOT fixed in 2009? I think it's silly that I have to turn off the hifi to mute it or pause it.

I don't like the way the paint on the front of my 09 is starting to chip. Only 165 miles on it and have two chipped places. One is pretty big. A lady in my office had a new 05 or 06 and her complaint was about the front paint chipping. Yes, I do some driving on I66 but mostly it is city. My question, is anyone else seeing this on their TSX?

Common problem on the TSX, at least the 1G. Invest in a clear bra for protection.

What are typical costs for a clear bra? I've never heard of it until recently, but could be interested in one when I get my TSX. I've had my current car for almost 5 years and I haven't had any problems, so not sure if it would be worth it for me. Depends on costs, I suppose. I assume they are 'clear' and not too noticeable?

You only really notice it by the edge lines of the bra at angles. Its basically a thick clear sticker adhesive that goes across your entire front bumper, tips of your hood, and front portions of your fenders.

The dealer sells an OEM similar product for the rear trunk step, ands its basically a clear bra that sits on the "Step" of the rear bumper to prevent cargo scratching the bumper.

Okay, that makes sense. I've seen the trunk one, so it's a similar product for the hood. Thanks for the info!

I was so afraid that you were going to say that. Will have to learn a little more about the clear bra. Will keep reading. Thanks.....

Well, I now have my 2009 TSX in hand and so far....the only two things I am not thrilled about is:

1. I wish it had Sirius ready instead of XM....(although Iknow some conversion kits exists for that)

2. Girls now look at my car more than look at me.....I might have go to extreme measures to win back the attention...such as:

patcracks...I had called Sirius and they were the one who told me about a 'translator' which be be found on google although I haven't persued it too far yet as I didn't have the car. Since I have XM for free for 3 months, I'll give them a chance and if they are not up to par, I'll have to take the necessary steps. In Canada, the Sirius/XM merger is not as imminent or even a done deal. In the audio section (here on this forum), someone put a step by step to do it yourself and apparently, its easy and pretty good....

Oh yes...I would say without a doubt that I noticed a BIG difference...not to mention its nice to get the steering to actually turn at low speed without breaking into a sweat....

Don't have that problem in 1GEN, so you must mean another car.

I have a quicl fix for no mute button, you can just hit the AUX button and that works great as long as you don't have an iPod hooked to it.

Here's a quick fix: press the power button and turn off the audio system when you need to mute it or stop play. Pretty simple huh? Stop and mute all in one button press. When you turn it back on, the system remembers what you were playing last and picks up from there.

I got the all season floor mats. I have a manual and when I press the clutch pedal down all the way it gets caught on the mat. The elongated part at the top is not long enough. That is one of my main frustrations.. that and the scratch/dent on my hood from a rock on the freeway

That sounds really bizarre! Aren't the all-season mats rubber? How could a pedal get caught on rubber? Are you saying the pedal gets caught behind the top edge of the mat? Maybe you need to pull the mat "forward", which would move the top, front edge higher. Have others experienced this problem?

I guess you didn't see my post ... it's a minor annoyance, not a "fix," to have to power off to pause or mute. Agreed, AUX button works well for a CD, with no "power on delay."

I read it. I timed the power on delay just for you. It's 8 seconds. That wait is a real killer.

Yes they are rubber. I thought perhaps it needs to be pulled forward as well, but it's as far forward as it can go. It has areas for the locks just like the regular floor mats. When you press it down it goes behind the top of the mat and then lifts it up when you release the pedal.
