Used TSX Purchase Experiences/Prices?
Hey there, this is my first post on this forum...I have been trolling it for about 2 weeks now researching TSX issues since I am imminently about to buy one as soon as I can get a 3rd party loan.
After reading this forum, I have settled on a 2005 since there are so many first year problems like the A/C compressor. What I have been doing is searching Yahoo! autos (cars.com essentially) and autotrader.com to find any from local dealerships but I noticed they all have these "internet prices" which are substantially lower than the normal price (like 3k or so).
Is this a gimmick or something? If they have truly discounted the price so much if you contact the internet manager, is it worth trying to haggle even lower? I have this idea in my head that I should just wait until the car I want pops up for the price I want and buy it immediately with no discussion since these prices already seem low. This is my first car buying experience...
It would be helpful if people could post their dealership experiences (with car year/miles/asking price/final price) in their recent purchase of a USED TSX so I can get an idea of what to expect. I would like a gray, auto, 2005, with less than 40K miles and some kind of warranty for around 18-18.5k and its proving difficult
Thanks guys! Im driving around with no A/C right now...can't wait until I'm in my "new" TSX!

I am sure that you will enjoy getting your TSX as I just got rid of my 2006 and it was a wonderful car. Istill enjoy my 2009 better but not everyone share this opinion...so going with an 05 will certainly be a good choice. I can't help you with internet purchases as I never deal with such services myself. I just want to warn you before people will flame you, this is the second generation section, you may want to ask a moderator to repost in the appropriate section I am convinced you will have lots of fu nwith your TSX...Its an amazing car!!
