This just started last weekend, and I think it has something to do with my Viper SmartStart. If I go out and try to start my car it won't. Just turns over. If I start it with the SmartStart, it will work. Anyone been through this? Should I try the dealer first or go to Best Buy? Thanks in advance.

go to best buy if that is where you bought the smart start from-did they install it-

I think it's your immobilizer. Use your original Acura remote and hit unlock, it should work until it acts up again. The remote start bypasses the immobilizer I think, therefore it's not affected by it.

I tried that. Still didn't work. I believe you're right that's it the immobilizer so I'll try the dealer tomorrow.

It's fixed. Dealer had to reprogram the ignition module at the cost of $120.

Shouldn't BB have to pay for that? Since they messed it up upon installation? I'd try to get my money back from BB...show them the receipt.
