TSX wagon with stick?
TSX wagon with stick?
Does anyone think that the TSX wagon should be available in North America with a 6MT? Of course, a TSX sedan 6MT is sold here, and in Europe and Japan, the Accord Tourer (the Acura wagon) comes with a 2.4-liter stick.
There might not be a whole lot of demand in the U.S. and Canada, but since they are already built with 6MTs and sold in other markets, it shouldn't require much of an investment to sell them here. In the 1990s, you could get an Accord wagon in the U.S. with a stick.

If our suggestions were heard and thought about by Honda directly, I would rather have a 4cyl turbo (the engine from the RDX or a smaller liter engine for better MPG that the RDX) and SH-AWD.
I think it is a little weird that they are trying to compare the wagon to vehicles that are not in the same class. Sure it is less expensive than the Audi or BMW but those are in a different class in my opinion.
Bring, the 4cyl turbo and SH-AWD out for under 38-39K (with tech) and I would trade my new wagon (2011 just turned 1000 miles) in tomorrow. If you are going to compare the vehicle to the other options, you need to be competitive with the feature set.
With this in mind, I have no regrets in buying the wagon in it's current configuration.

FWIW, one of the salesman I bought my TL from said that the TSX Wagon would eventually have SH-AWD; he wasn't sure about 6MT.
A 4-cylinder turbo, SH-AWD, 6MT TSX Wagon would be awesome. If Acura were to offer it tomorrow, I would trade in my TL today and take a hit financially (and from my wife), but would be well worth it.
