Tsx se front lip
So I got the first scratches on my tsx. At the freakin car wash of all places. Rubbed the paint off the front lip by thr drivers side front tire and the side skirt in 2 places where the contour bulges out slightly. Car was agreed to pay for it when they saw the tire shine applicator interfere with the car. If course they insisted it didn't happen there until they actually witnessed it first hand. In any event I noticed on the non damaged side there is some slight damage to the lip as well so I'm thinking maybe replace the lip and be done with it. 2 questions: is the lip separate from the front bumper? And can you get it pre painted from acura?
As a side note you should have seen these guys try and blame it on me. " is this lowered?" "Are these skirts factory? ". I've never seen a car like this before". Yeah nice try lol

This is what your front lip consists of; Just add-ons to each end of the bumper:
I'm pretty sure they do come painted for regular TSX, but not sure about SE since SE bumpers don't come painted from factory and other bumpers do? May need to research that a bit more..... Side skirts on the other hand do come painted.

The front under body spoilers are painted from factory and are an attachment to the 11+ base bumper. There are different part numbers depending on the colour. As far as I know, only the front under body spoilers come painted. The SE side skirts and SE rear bumper do NOT come painted.

They certainly aren't cheap for little fin-looking attachments we call a "front lip". I luckily got mine for $100 USD shipped on eBay (for the pair) from a dealer who removed them from a showroom car. Mounting hardware included
If you wanna pay less "MSRP", you'll have to look a bit further. Try junk yards, eBay, etc.

We also have forum sponsors that honor a 10 or 15 percent discount on OEM parts as well. If you go to the Blackmarket "Sponsor" section you should be able to find someone in there. But as dave mentioned, DCH Honda has great prices.
