I have a 2011 TSX Base AT and was wondering if anyone has had this Technical Service Bulletin SB-11-021 Software Update done to their vehicle? It supposedly to improve fuel injector and vtc timing. Wondering if my vehicle needs this update because when I use the Loaner vehicles, exact same year and model it feels to have a lot more power and pick up. Car is still under warranty, could I call dealership to check if this update was done to my vehicle? Just purchased this car about 5months ago.

This TSB would not apply to your 2011 TSX, as you have the automatic.

You bought this 2011 5 months ago. Your dealer is using 2011 TSX as loaners?

I was under hte impression dealers use the MOST newest cars as loaners, and then selll them at a certain mileage/year.

I dont think, in LA, I ever see older loaners.

 

Yes my local dealer is still using a 2011 TSX Base which has only 9,000 miles on it. Wish I purchased the loaner instead, it has the Tech Pckg.

 

My dealer gave me a 2015 ILX to drive while i got my TSX looked at.

 

Wow that is crazy.

Both of the dealers local to me, use 2015 ILX/TLX/MDX as loaners.

When I was there Friday, they were readying 2016 ILX as it was coming off the truck, as a new loaner.
