You guys ever notice a little ping between 2300-2700RPM ?! i just started noticing and reported it to my acura dealer. He told me to use different gas (i was using 91 from shell). So i decided to give it a try (what can i lose ?). I then proceeded to just empty my tank as much as possible and try 94 from petro-canada (canadian gas station). Filled it twice completely (100$ every time) and the ping is still there, same rpm. I then started to snoop around in forums and you know ZEE INTERNET! and found out this TSB *B09-041*that i mentioned in the title. have you guys ever had the same problem and did the tsb ? if yes, i'd like your input! I'm still under warranty for another 30kilos/1 year btw so i guess it's covered..

I have an 09, and had the TSB done years ago.

It's just an ECU map update.

It seems feasible they will do this for you.

If this has already been done, and they say no, then I would just leave it.

If you have an 09 or 10 get a flashpro, and datalog, see how much knock you are really getting vs possibly imagining.

Hey guys! i thought i'd keep you all updated! Since i am a canadian customer (from montreal) the TSB 09-041 doesn,t apply since it's a different code here. So i just pronounced the word *knock sensor* and they told me it's the TSB V-6-09 (canadian number). They tested it. Said it was "positive" even though my car isn't in the vin range and they changed it under warranty (i have a acura care 7years/130 000kms electronic/engine warranty). Took it back yesterday and the sound is definitely gone. Happy customer here. i wish this can help anybody from canada if you ever have a similar problem.
