Trunk accessories

Can anyone who has the cargo net, trunk organizer, or cargo hooks let us know which of these are worthwhile? I imagine that it wouldn't make sense to have both the net and the organizer, so which one do you think is more useful?

Mine came with cargo hooks too. I think that's standard equipment. You use them by buying a cargo net (an aftermarket one, not the absurdly priced one from the dealer) or bungie cords - which is what I use. Stretch the net or cords tightly over whatever it is you don't want to move and viola!

The Cargo Hooks that mount to the inside/top of the trunk aren't standard equipment. They are used to hang stuff like grocery bags and stuff... They are an accessory and cost about $7-12 each plus labor (you can mount up to 2). What is lame is that you need a rivet nut tool to mount them so either buy the part and rent/purchase the tool OR have your dealer install it. My dealer was asking $56 for the cargo hooks installed. Whatever!

As CybrRdr said, the cargo hooks are not standard. Sounds like you might be talking about the two metal-ring tie-down points on the floor of the trunk.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. The rings on the floor of the trunk. I thought that was what he was talking about too.

That is part of your navigation system. The navigation information is stored on DVD media.

I got the advanced cargo net from ebay and thought i could install it myself. But it's too complicated and involving removals of several panels and drillings. So i had to take it to the dealership and the labor costs $100 (even more than what the cargo net costs).
