Hey everyone, I just got my car windows tinted today. Very impressed by the job done however, I think mine are too dark. I have the TSX 09 Black Exterior and Interior. Two front windows have 20% and the back has 15%. Has anyone have any problems with the cops. I live in PA, 15miles out from Philly

I have the same color combination with ~the same % as yours. I haven't had a problem other than reversing and turning. Unfortunately, I've hit numerous things


You can open your moonroof shade to allow more light in. This will help a little.

if i can do over, i'd probably go 35 all round lol. now i have 23% in the front, 17% in the back

I have 35% all around with 50% WS. I like it a lot because since we have black interiors it already looks pretty dark and it's easier to see through at night.

i have 35 in the front and 20 in the back, and its occasionally difficult to see, mainly out of the side mirrors if my front windows are up, and the back windshield. i can see people hitting stuff with darker tint lol

If I didn't have my camera I think I'd have a harder time estimating distance from the back. I'd end up leaving way too much room or just leaving the parking spot cuz I think I can't fit. The butt of our car is pretty short though...

I got the same tint combo as Dave. I think 35/20 is pretty much perfect for me. My friend has 20 everywhere and its pretty damn dark in his car.

I have 20% all around and 35% windshield and don't have problems seeing out. With black interior it will be darker, but I think it looks the best.

i have 5% all around only issues i have is i got to roll the windows down if im backing up

THIS IS WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT! 5% ftw! I had 10% on my last car all the way around except for the windshield and I got used to it. I actually loved it in the summer time.

When I'm able to get my hands on a TSX it'll more than likely either have 5% or 15%. I've friends who did 15% and then went over it again with 5%. EXTRA SUPER DARK!

I actually love dark tint and here we can get away with it. I dont live in a metro an in a rural place. I tend to hear up north is where they take tint seriously like PA, NJ, NY and the rest of NE. There are some states like AL, NC, SC that can take the fun out of it too.

Can I get lower than 5% tint? Does anybody offer 0%?? im really sick of seeing outside of my windows

What if I went to a paint shop and had them paint my windows black? What is the color code for CBP?

good idea, and paint the front winshield grigio or pmm so it'll be a lighter shade, the cops wont get you!
