I really hate seeing people post responses like the one above so cheers to another rant...
Whether she has the funds to do so or not is of no one's concern. If she wants to upgrade then so be it. Who cares? It aint your money. Unless your job is in finance and she solicited requests for financial advice (she didn't), you have no business telling her what she should/should not do with her car or money.

Yes, it is her money just like it is our opinion to tell her what to do with it.

in? I'm not demanding that she do as I say, I'm just offering my opinion as to why it would be ill-advised to do what she's planning to do. If someone doesn't want anybody else's opinion then they probably shouldn't post it on a public forum. Oh wait, there I go again telling people what to do. Lighten up there, this is the internet.
