Thinking about trading TSX for TL. Need advice.

I'm really stumped on this one guys and I am looking for opinions. I have a 2010 TSX non-tech Grigio with 25,500 miles. I have an opportunity to trade it in for a 2010 TL Tech with 25,000 miles, Grigio for the trade and $8,000.

Am I crazy? I like that the TL is bigger but also realize the gas mileage is not going to be as good. The tech seems cool although not necessary. I think I just convinced myself that this would be a waste of money!

Thoughts?

I would happily do it for a facelift year TL... They are pretty awesome and so is the tech

Yeah it's looks like $8500 includes tax and fees. Not those wheeels. That looks like the 2012 right? The 2010 I believe still have the funky back.

For 8000? No way! I doubt thats worth it. If you really want a TL you'd prolly be better off selling the TSX and buying a TL. I suggest offering the KBB difference.

For $8500? Not worth it. Keep the TSX and save yourself some money. If you really want the TL, the $8500 would be better used as part of the down for a new one; then sell your TSX and put it toward the balance.

I'd step up to one but only for a new one, it isn't a BIG step to a TL.

Having owned a TSX for nearly 5 years...I understand that you're looking for some more oomph....But for 8K...for decent, i emphasize decent upgrade in power and downgrade in looks departments...I'd look elsewhere, perhaps a used bmw 335i G37 coupe, is350 etc.

Like many have said, I would do it for a facelifted TL, but not the 09-10. My mom used to drive an 09 TL and if looks didn't matter at all, the car is absolutely fantastic. The interior is gorgeous, torque is plentiful and SH-AWD is a blast. But I care about looks and though I think the 09-10 looks ok, I just cant choose it knowing that the 11-12's exist.
