Testing Fitting

For the past week, I emailed and called over 25 aftermarket companies seeing if they needed a CU2 for test fitting. So far, magnaflow, afe, and progress want to use my car. I heard back from Borla and neuspeed and they will not be making parts for our cars anytime soon. Other companies I'm waiting hear back from are HKS, turbospecialties, tenzo R, Tanabe, JIC, greddy, AEM, kraftwerks, injen, fujita, hondata, vogtland, and K&N. Hopefully I can get a lot of free parts. I'll keep everyone updated on what is going to get made.

Awesome. Thanks. I want to help get some more parts out there for everyone. (I don't mind free stuff either.)

Ya, I hear ya. Thanks for volunteering your car and time. I would totally be there with you if I lived in SoCal. As it is though I live in Alabama and there really aren't any tuners around here lol.

I'm willing to take on for the team. Ha ha.. Yeah, all of these tuners are no further than an hour from where I live. It's great. Let me know if you find that post. I'll start to bug Mr.HeelToe.

I know you're looking for free stuff, which is cool.
and letting your car get worked on for R&D is also cool.

you just need to be aware that having this done is going to eliminate
the DD capacity of your car for small periods of time.

you'll have to drop your car off for probably 4-10 days or so at each
company that wants it for R&D.

not sure if you were aware of this or not, so I thought I'd chime in.
don't want you to make a agreements and such just to have to back out
because you have no other car to drive on a daily basis while they are
doing their measuring, test fitting, fabrication, etc.

Not really a problem. I have a second car to drive around, so no big deal. Also, I ride my bike (bicycle) to work most of the time. I live 3 miles away. I'm not to thrilled about ten days without my TSX, but it's for a good cause. Magnaflow said 5 day, Progress said 5 - 9 days and aFe said 2 days tops. Hopefully it all works out. Like I said, I'll keep everyone updated.

AFE is an impressive company. They have some really nice intakes.

I know the owners at magnaflow. I am going to try and give some input on the design...make sure it doesn't come out booty.

Awesome. Hopefully Magnaflow will get back to me. Do you know if they have an RD car yet? Well, I'll get back to you on Monday and we can set up a time for me to drive up there.

D'oh I thought they already had you set up. Anyway, the owner emailed me back and we are supposed to discuss it. The R&D guys have not gotten wind yet...they are booked up with all kinda of exotics right now (blech).
